Work is starting on getting our collections ready for the building work next year, when we need to empty the building. We are starting to move materials which will be permanently at another location, and this will take us to early next year. The collection then remaining (some 70,000 items) will be given a temporary home at Penrith campus for mid-2024 to mid-2025, before being returned to the new building in 2025.
Your patience with any noise or disruption is appreciated as we progress through this important preparation stage.
Remember, students and staff can request items from any campus to be sent to your campus for you to pick up, and this will not change during the collection and building works.
